National Art Gallery

The focal point of the gallery is a mural depicting the horrors of the past 45 years of political corruption, crime, violence and the 1980-1992 Civil War that took 175,000 lives. Frequently called “The Long Night” and the “Never Ending Nightmare,” the mural is a reminder of where El Salvador has been so it will not go there again.
